Operation: Military Kids for the State of Hawaii.

• Creates state and local community support networks for military youth when Soldeirs, Sailors, Marines and Airmen, deploy, active, reserve or guard.
• Uses state, community and military resources to connect children and youth and their families with helpful people and organizations in theri hometown and communities.
• Delivers a wide rage of recreational, social and educational programs for military youth living in civilian communities.
• Acknowledges the strenghts and sacrifices of military kids as everyday home front heros through Hero packs and special recognition events.
• Supports military kids coping with the s tress of knowing their deplyed parents or relative may be in harm's way.
• Educates the public in briefings called "Ready, Set, Go" on the impact of the deployemnt cycle on the military, the family, the children, and the community as a whole.
